When you are told that you have an interview, if you feel that the position is not for you, instead of agreeing to go for the interview and then not turning up for the interview, it's always best to let the Consultant know that you are no longer interested in the position and want to pull out.

Not turning up for an interview is one of the worst things you can do as a job hunter. The recruitment agency will be sure to never want to deal with you again as this makes them feel that you are unreliable.

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GO FOR AN INTERVIEW, LET THE CONSULTANT KNOW, SO THAT THEY CAN CANCEL YOUR INTERVIEW AND AT LEAST YOU WILL STILL HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR AGENCY.
